I'm a retired United Airlines Captain with over 37 years of airline experience.
In the course of my career, I logged over 22,000 flying hours
with National, Pan Am and United and flew six different types of aircraft ranging from the B-727 to the B-777. I retired in 2015 from
the "Friendly Skies" as an Airbus A-320 Captain.
I also spent the last 10 years of my career as a Federal Flight Deck Officer (armed pilot).
In addition to flying for the airlines, I served as a USAF pilot and retired in 2002 as a Lieutenant Colonel with over 22 years of active and reserve duty.
I have an Associate of Arts Degree from Miami Dade College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of West Florida in Pensacola and a Master's Degree from Texas Christian University
in Ft. Worth, Texas.
I currently reside in Miami, Florida, with my lovely wife of 41 years, Tricia.
